Exploring the Bible: DeuteronomyDeuteronomy can seem rather formidable at first sight, but it is actually one of the most important books in the Old Testament. New International Commentary: The Book of Genesis (2 vols.)Volume 1The first of Victor P. The commentary proper, based on Hamilton’s own translation, evidences his extensive knowledge of the ancient Near East and of contemporary scholarship, including literary, form, and text criticism.
