DESCRIPTION
This revised edition of the standard reference work in its field has been expanded throughout to now provide even more up-to-date information by Craig Keener, one of the leading New Testament scholars on Jewish, Greek and Roman culture.
To understand and apply the Bible well, you need two crucial sources of information. One is the Bible itself. The other is an understanding of the cultural background of the passage you’re reading.
Only with the background can you grasp the author’s original concerns and purposes. This unique commentary provides, in verse-by-verse format, the crucial cultural background you need for responsible–and richer–Bible study. It includes a glossary of cultural terms and important historical figures, maps and charts, up-to-date bibliographies, and introductory essays about cultural background information for each book of the New Testament.
Based on decades of in-depth study, this accessible and bestselling commentary is valuable for pastors in sermon preparation, for Sunday-school and other church teachers as they build lessons, for missionaries concerned not to import their own cultural biases into the Bible, for college and seminary students in classroom assignments, and for everyday Bible readers seeking to deepen and enhance their study of Scripture.
THEWORD ENHANCEMENTS

Now enjoy his personable, yet scholarly, style in this 60-volume set of commentaries that takes you from Genesis to Revelation with new understanding and insight. End-times Bible prophecy is like a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle partially done. Many godly people have come before us establishing the borders of the puzzle. Parts of the faces and landscape are taking form, yet without the box cover showing the finished product, no one really knows how it ought to look when it is entirely assembled. The timing of the rapture is a puzzle-piece incorrectly placed by many mainstream theologians.
Authors Dr. Douglas Hamp and Chris Steinle take a fresh look at the rapture based on extensive Bible prophecy and a literal interpretation of the Scriptures. It’s time to rethink God’s purpose for the rapture: Is it an escape or a preparation for something greater? The rapture was prophesied from Genesis to Revelation. Why have dozens of rapture prophecies been overlooked by mainstream theology? Explore the ancient texts and discover God’s clear and consistent revelation of end time events.
* Explore dozens of rapture verses.
* Understand the logic behind Paul’s eschatology.
* Learn why the Day of Lord includes God’s indignation, the rapture, and Second Coming.
* Enjoy dramatic vignettes from the Millennium Chronicles that bring Bible prophecies to life.
* Consider the connection between the rapture and the redemption of the body.
* Rethink the Gathering of Israel and how it applies to the Church.
* See why Paul insisted the dead must rise first.
* Know the signs preceding Christ’s return.
* Includes four charts and three vignettes to showcase the authors’ conclusions.

Reggie Weems
Reggie Weems was born in Granite City, Illinois, USA. Converted at seventeen, he worked as an Egyptian linguist for the US government before serving as Senior Pastor of two churches for thirty years. Reggie both rejoices in and struggles with the discipline of prayer. It is for that reason that he emphasizes it, practices it and encourages others to join him in the wonder of communion with God. He is married to Teana, his childhood sweetheart.
The prophecy of Genesis 3:15 states the serpent will one day mix his seed with humanity as a counterfeit of the Messiah. Jesus told us that the last days will be like the days of Noah when fallen angels mixed their seed with humanity. In the Book of Daniel we read that “they” will again mingle with the seed of men. That day of fulfillment is now!
A thrilling read for the detective-at-heart!
William C. Harvey, M.S., Author
Absolutely astonishing! Corrupting the Image provides a biblical, scientific, and enlightening way of looking at the “big picture” of the end times that is so logical it will blow your mind.
Dr Scott A. Collie D.C.
A thrilling read! Douglas brings together, perhaps for the first time ever, a comprehensive explanation of how the Antichrist will be a genetic counterfeit of the virgin birth. This book is at the cutting edge of research and is written so that the average person can grasp the sinister plan that is unfolding before our very eyes.
Dr. Kenton Beshore, President of World Bible Society
Startling! This book takes what the Bible says and magnifies it so you can see clearly how genetics is vital to opening the door for the return of the Nephilim. No matter where you stand on biblical eschatology this book will affect you. Read it.

It is True is a very short 48-page work on Biblical Archaeology, showing where secular history records establish the veracity of the Bible in history. These 20 chapters are short and precise defenses and explanations of various points in the Bible that secular “scholars” refuse to accept as fact. The reading of this work is easy and to the point.
In this commentary, Andy McIntosh considers the most attacked part, Genesis 1–11, which is the major historical timeline from the creation of the universe through Adam to Noah, and on through the worldwide Flood to Abraham.
This book is a nine chapter treatment of The Song of Solomon. It is warmly written from a dispensational point of view. While devotional and not academic, the author still holds to a literal treatment of the text.

Sixteen (16) high-resolution maps of Bible lands which are in color at 300dpi resolution for high-quality printing and viewing. The integrated Graphics Viewer of theWord allows zooming, panning, and easy navigation. With these high-quality maps, you can locate places and their relationships one to another very easily. The areas are in a red font, and the cities are in a black font. These maps are not even available on the American Bible Society website, so this is a great resource for the Bible student.
While any Bible student needs this kind of resource, this is especially excellent for Bible class teachers, Sunday School teachers, and pastors as you can copy and paste these images into your own personal Bible presentations. When these high-resolution maps are projected (enlarged on a projection screen), they still look very good. This is not true with images downloaded off of the Internet. High-resolution maps of Bible lands are hard to find.
